Village Grove is a beautiful neighborhood that is located near the Rosewood area. From Hwy 70, go towards the intersection of Hwy 70 and Hwy 581, turn to go beside the Wal Mart store. The neighborhood will be approximately one mile down Hwy 581 on your right. This is very convenient to Hwy 70 and the new Hwy 795. It is very convenient to get to Walmart and other small stores in the Walmart complex as well as gas stations and some diners.
The homes have so much to offer with stainless appliances in the kitchen, granite countertops, Eating area, Dens with cathedral or vaulted ceilings and fans, bathrooms with double vanities and split floor plans. These homes also have double garages and plenty of driveway parking as well as patios and screen porches and fenced yards. Some homes have a finished bonus room. There are hardwood floors as well as carpet, tile or other floor coverings. Some of the homes are brick exterior and some are vinyl. These home are in the 1700 to 2500 square foot size.
The school district for this area is Rosewood. There is Rosewood Elementary, Rosewood Middle and Rosewood High School and they are all located very close together. There is also some daycares in the Rosewood area. There are some private schools on Hwy 70 going towards Goldsboro. It would be only a few miles to drive to these schools.
Within approximately 7 miles of this area you can take the Wayne Memorial Drive Exit to get to the hospital and most doctor offices and to Wayne Community College. This exit also offers shopping with a Harris Teeter, Carlie C’s, and some smaller variety stores, as well as Starbucks, a grill, Pizza Hut, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Hardee’s, Burger King, Taco Bell Dairy Queen, Subway, Chinese and Japanese food and Office Depot and banks to name a few. The theaters are located in this area too. A short drive further down Hwy 70 E will bring you to another Wal Mart and some restaurants such as Logan’s, Ruby Tuesday, Applebee’s, Outback, Chili’s and more. Then just a little bit further, at the next exit is Berkeley Blvd., which offers the Mall, Kmart, Target, Lowes, Maurices, Old Navy and many other stores and restaurants that include, Mcallister’s, Panera Bread, Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn, Starbuck’s and many more. There are also banks in this area and a batting cage and putt putt and a post office. Gas stations are also in all these areas.
On Thursday night during the summer months the downtown area of Goldsboro has live music and games for the kids and there are several restaurants and stores in this area.
